spring

we were outside, searching for a comic strip location
and i must say, though i am somehow disgusted by many things associated to spring,
such as the phenomenon of combined(!) pastel colours everywhere, the sudden enthusiasm and smiles in everyones faces ( why cant anyone smile at strangers in winter, too?)
and somehow already the german word for spring,
Frühling
sounds foolish to me.
...what was i aiming to say..?
oh yeah, that, despite of this, i was really kind of lift up by the warm weather and
the rays of sunlight that we had lacked for quite a long time!
